Meet Arifina Rashid, Psy.D.
Arifina Rashid, Psy.D., is a Post-Doctoral Registered Psychological Associate, supervised by Dr. Aurielle Mason. With extensive experience working with children, teens, and their parents, Dr. Rashid specializes in providing therapy and psychological assessments that address neurodevelopmental disorders and challenges during childhood. She earned her Master’s degree from Pepperdine University and her Doctor of Psychology (Psy.D.) from The Chicago School of Professional Psychology.
Dr. Rashid is passionate about supporting young individuals and their families, focusing on concerns such as Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD), ADHD, learning disorders, behavioral issues, and emotional difficulties during key developmental stages. She works collaboratively with both children and their parents to provide tailored interventions and practical strategies that foster growth and resilience.
Through careful assessment and accurate diagnosis, Dr. Rashid helps families better understand their child's needs and offers personalized support to promote their well-being. At Mindful Play, she integrates her clinical expertise with a playful, child-led approach, creating a nurturing and engaging environment where children and teens can thrive.
